徐华强,毕业于清华大学,在1985与1988年分别获得学士与硕士学位,随后于1994年获得美国德州西南医学中心博士学位,而后两年在美国麻省理工学院从事博士后研究。1996年到2002年,先后在葛兰素威康研究所和美国葛兰素史克任研究员。2002年任美国Van Andel研究所结构科学实验室主任,2007年提升为杰出教授和药物研发中心主任。2010年7月以国家“千人计划”特聘教授身份回到中国科学院上海药物研究所创建药物靶结构与功能中心,任中心主任。2012年8月筹建中国科学院受体结构与功能重点实验室,2013年4月批复成立,任实验室主任。2010年7月至今,中国科学院上海药物研究所药物靶标结构与功能中心,主任,教授。2011年7至今,中国科学院上海药物研究所VARI/SIMM研究中心,主任,杰出PI。

研究方向:

主要研究领域集中在核激素受体、肝脏生长因子(HGF)受体、G蛋白偶联受体(GPCR)、离子通道和植物激素受体等结构与功能领域的研究,开展基于晶体结构的肿瘤与糖尿病的药物研发。

中科院受体结构与功能重点实验室主任、药物靶标结构与功能中心主任

科研成果:

目前已在《Nature》、《Science》、《Cell》、《Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA》等杂志发表论文110余篇,并获得专利十余项。2009年,其“ABA受体晶体结构与分子机制”一文作为封面文章发表在《Nature》杂志,被《Science》杂志评为 2009年十大突破之一。
